VPhase

VPhase® VX1 domestic voltage optimiser

The VPhase® VX1 unit manages the voltage coming into your home. Across the UK, voltages coming into homes varies widely (from 237-253V) but typically, the average energy supply for home use is at about 242-245V, but many appliances such as fridges, microwaves and audio-visual equipment, are rated at an optimum 220V.  Therefore if the voltage coming into the home can be adjusted to this level, these appliances will work more efficiently, they will work better, last longer and cost less to run!

See the BBC News item where Working Lunch host Simon Gompertz shows how this home benefits from installing the VX1 - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8172850.stm

The VPhase voltage optimiser reduces the voltage to a factory set 220V and this reduces your bill from the moment it is installed by a qualified electrician. It is possible that voltages can be lowered even further, saving even more money – you must check with your installing electrician if this is possible in your particular situation.

Voltage Optimisation technology has been proven in commercial installations for years (see our VO/VR pages for information on these industrial grade units) where significant savings on CO2 emissions and energy reduction are helping businesses meet targets and improve their competitive advantage.  Now this technology is available for homes and small offices at a price that everyone can afford.

Ixian Solutions can now offer the new VX1 optimisers, which are the result of four years research, development and testing in domestic applications. Easily installed by a qualified electrician, these units are about the size of a modern consumer unit (34.5 x 18 x 11.5cm) and weigh only 4.3kg.
